Lodz is located in the center of Poland, about 130 km from Warsaw. The Warsaw Chopin airport (IATA code: WAW) has very good connections with all parts of the world. We will provide transportation from the Warsaw Chopin airport to Lodz on September 2 and back on September 7.

The conference buses will depart from the Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) on September 2 at 12:30 and at 15:30. The meeting point is near Exit 2 in the arrival lobby of the airport terminal.

A small international airport is also available in Lodz (IATA code: LCJ). It offers direct flights from/to Munich (Germany) by Lufthansa and a limited number of Ryanair flights.

Lodz has good train connections with Warsaw and also good access by car (the city is near the main highway junction of Poland).

About the city
Lodz is the third largest city in Poland and is renowned for its unique post-industrial character. The city applied to become the host of the International EXPO 2022 Exhibition. Although we have finally lost the bid (to Buenos Aires), the city's exhibition website is worth seeing.
